Meet the team

Mark Smith

Mark is a civil engineer by background. After spending two years in the industry, contributing to several high-profile transport infrastructure and urban mobility projects, he returned to study to pursue a degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology at the University of Strathclyde.

Garance Locatelli

Garance studied Business Management at EDHEC Business School and specialised in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at University of Strathclyde. She brings her experience in sustainability-driven and user-focused companies.

Orchy is a Scottish start-up dedicated to tackling the climate crisis. This commitment is pursued through the development and global scaling of innovative solutions, such as their flagship product, the MARKED: Wayfinding System.

The Orchy team shares a common passion for making a positive impact. With such an ambitious goal, they have to be bold in their objectives and approach. They also prioritise supporting one another and fostering meaningful relationships with broader stakeholders, enabling them to sustain high performance over the long term.
